My research is concerned with statistical modeling and inference. Areas of current interest include:
functional data analysis, time series and extreme value theory. I serve on several
editorial boards, including Journal of the American Statistical Association, Journal of Multivariate Analysis,
Scandinavian Journal of Statistics and Journal of Time Series Analysis.
I am a fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics.
